The Adams Elementary Parent Association (APA) thrives because of the time, energy, and care our parent community gives. There are many ways to get involved — whether you can give a little time or a lot, every bit makes a difference for our school.

Get Involved
The Adams Elementary Parent Association (APA) thrives because of the time, energy, and care our parent community gives. There are many ways to get involved — whether you can give a little time or a lot, every bit makes a difference for our school.
Ways You Can Volunteer
Getting involved with APA can take many forms:
Setting up tables for an event, such as Block Party
Helping weekly in your student’s art class
Popping into the library to re-shelve book returns or straighten up shelves as you’re able
Signing up for a 30-minute shift to manage an activity at an event
Taking student artwork home to mount on paper in preparation of Fine Arts Night
Tracking student laps at morning recess for AIM (Adams in Motion)
Volunteering in classrooms or with small projects behind the scenes
Donating skills, supplies, or resources to support our programs
No matter your availability or interests, there’s a place for you here!
Volunteer Application & Background Check
For the safety of our students, all volunteers are required to complete a background check with the district. Please take a moment to fill out the Volunteer Application before signing up for activities.
